Return & Warranty Information
At Summer Living Direct, our policy is to provide you with quality products and a convenient service. If your order is damaged, we will fix the problem. This policy covers not only cushions, but that of all of the items sold on this website.
When an order is received and you would like to alter or make changes on the existing products that were not on the original order, there will be a charge for services. Changes cannot be made once orders are entered for production.
Because each product is custom made, all orders placed are final and will be made exactly as ordered (according to the email confirmation that you receive).
We cannot take returns for cushions that do not fit, unless it is a mistake on our end. Cushions are custom made, and it is not possible to accept returns for this reason. Cushions are made within a half inch. Please be certain that the cushions you are ordering will fit your furniture.
We are unable to accept returns on any items due to color or pattern dislike. We make every effort to allow customers the ability to view fabrics prior to purchase. Fabric samples are also available upon request prior to shipping. It is recommended that you request fabric samples before ordering. If choosing a close-out fabric, please note the fabric quantities are limited. If repairing or alterations are needed, there may be a chance that there will be no fabric for this. Because of the fabric issue, close-out fabrics are not covered in the warranty.
No cancellation of orders will be honored.
If there is a problem with the order, please contact us and we will respond to your request as soon as possible.
When placing orders over the phone, you will be asked for verification that you have read and fully understand our return policy.
We cannot be held responsible for deliveries not completed without a phone number for FedEx to contact customer for attempt delivery.
We cannot be held responsible for deliveries made that are misplaced or stolen.

- Do not machine wash your cushions and/or fabrics
- Close umbrellas when high winds are present
- Use caution when opening box with knife
- Choose the best fabric for your climate
- Be certain that the cushions will fit your furniture
- Cushions are water resistant, not water proof
Warranty Information
Summer Living Direct warrants quality and craftsmanship of cushions and umbrellas for a period of 3 months from the original invoice date. This warranty is limited to normal use and proper care by the purchaser. IT DOES NOT INCLUDE COMMERCIAL USES or normal fading of fabrics. Printed acrylics and printed polyester fabrics are not warranted against fading.
Summer Living Direct is not liable if the customer fails to use proper cleaning techniques in caring for and maintaining fabrics. For proper cleaning instructions, please refer to the instructions sent with your order or visit the fabric facts page..
Warranty is void if failure of the cushion or umbrella is caused by acts of nature, accident, neglect, abuse and/or failure to take reasonable care of the product. All measurements and specifications are approximate.
Umbrella frames are not warranted against freight or wind damages. For best results, do not use umbrellas in windy conditions, and always close or remove them from tables when not in use. A bolt down deck or base should be used in conjunction with dining tables to stabilize umbrellas. Do not use umbrellas as "free standing" items unless properly supported.
